I’ve been nominated for a Sports Emmy award as a member of Germaine Franco‘s music team. In the role of Music Editor for Outstanding Music Direction for Noche UFC: For Mexico, For All Time.
Special thanks to Germaine for having me on the project, to Antigravity Academy, Silent House Group, Nexus Studios, and of course the UFC for their collaboration, and support. This project marks my 10th or 11th project on Germaine’s team? At this point I’ve lost count. As always, I had a great time working under her musical direction and leadership and alongside my talented colleagues James Carroll, and Will Chen.
Per DEADLINE:
“The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences will hand out the awards, which recognize excellence in sports television coverage in 2024, on May 20 at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall in Manhattan.”
Due to prior project commitments I will unfortunately not be able to attend the ceremony in person. I will be cheering on my team from afar. Congrats to all of the other nominees.
For more information on the event check out the National Academy Of Television Arts & Sciences.
Working on Noche UFC: For Mexico, For All Time was a wonderful experience. Traveling to the Sphere last summer with Germaine, working alongside her and their audio team was a project highlight for me.
“UFC 306 At Sphere Sets Record For Highest-Grossing Event In UFC History And Highest-Grossing Single Event At Sphere”
“As the first live sports event at Sphere, the revolutionary new entertainment venue, UFC 306 captured the imagination of the sports world and raised the bar for sports and entertainment. Its innovative use of production technology capitalized on Sphere’s state-of-the-art audio and video capabilities to deliver a live experience never before witnessed in the history of sports.”
Germaine wrote and produced an amazing score.
